Description
You are considering a factory sealed Press Pass 2002 28-pack Hobby Box. There are 100 cards in a base set. Rookie Cards for Larry Foyt, Jamie McMurray, Scott Wimmer, Jon Wood, Travis Kvapil, Coy Gibbs, Brendan Gaughn, and others can be found in this base set. The zero card is a special short print insert which honors Jeff Gordon as the 2001 Cup Champion. Inserts available: Platinum parallels are found one per pack. Vintage insert cards are seeded one per pack. They are in black and white. Current drivers and legends from the past are included in this 36-card set. Burning Rubber Race-Used tire cards occur 1 in 480 packs. Driver cards from hobby only boxes have a stated print run of 90 serially numbered sets. Wouldn't it be nice to pull Dale Earnhardt's Burning Rubber #03 or Jr.'s #09? The Press Pass Authentic autograph cards are one in 72 packs. Unfortunately, Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. did not return their cards in time to be included in the packs, so the redemption date has passed on them. Oh well, there are 71 other drivers available. Dale Earnhardt "By the Numbers" cards are pulled about one in seventy-two packs. The hobby only holofoil version is sequentially numbered to 250. Velocity inserts are 1 in 8 packs. They are laser etched holofoils with raised type. Nine drivers are represented. Three Season's Greetings cards show up randomly. Each has an illustration of Santa and best wishes from the folks at Press Pass. We always thought that the third one was harder to find. Showman cards come 1 in 8 hobby only packs. They are mirror die-cuts of 12 drivers. Showcar cards are found in retail packs. Top Shelf inserts are pulled about 1 in 18 packs. They are foil etched cards of the top nine drivers. Their helmets receive special attention on the card front and back. Cup Chase contest winners were redeemed for the complete insert set until January 31, 2003. But the unredeemed cards still hold value. Winners that season were Ward Burton, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Sterling Marlin, and the Field Card, which was like a wild card. Oddly enough, Tony Stewart won the Championship that season without being a winner in any of the races in the contest. Press Pass sent his race-used tire card to collectors who submitted his Cup Chase card in honor of his championship. Triple Burner multiple memorabilia cards are numbered to 100. They contain a piece of race-used tire, sheet metal, and a slice of lugnut. The shipping fee is $7.00 by US Postal Service Priority Mail in the US. Inquire about combined shipping for multiple winning bids. We accept payment by Pay Pal.
